Attention Latin America Solidarity Coalition (LASC) Member Groups and Prospective Member Groups

Endorsements for the LASC IV "Alternatives to Empire" conference in Chicago April 14-15, 2006 are free to grassroots solidarity groups that agree with the LASC principles listed on our web page at www.lasolidarity.org. You can endorse the LASC IV conference online here.

However, the conference costs money to organize.   More than two-thirds of the conference budget is allocated to travel subsidies for targeted sectors in the US and for airfare for Latin American participants. Please consider a high level of support. This provides exposure for your organization as we build the US movement in solidarity with Latin America and the Caribbean. It helps us build this important conference and your participation builds your organization's network and membership.

There are several levels at which you can support LASC IV:

Sustainer : $500.   Included in this level is a literature table and four registrations to the conference as well as a link to your website on the LASC website and your name listed on all programs and promotional materials for the conference.

Co-Sponsor : $250.   Included in this level is a literature table and one registration to the conference as well as a link to your website on the LASC website and your name listed on all programs and promotional materials for the conference.

Supporter : $125.   Included in this level is a link to your website on the LASC website and your name listed on all programs and promotional materials for the conference.   Local groups or organizations without paid staff can become Supporters for $75.

Tables where merchandize is sold are $100 and for literature only are $50.   Tables are limited and will be prioritized for Sustainers, Co-Sponsors, and Supporters, as well as those who reserve and pay for them before Feb. 15.

Registration for the two-day conference is $35 including Saturday lunch, conference materials, coffee, and entrance to all cultural events.   We will attempt to find housing in Chicago activists' homes for those who desire it and who register before March 15.   A list of affordable hotels will be available closer to the conference date.
